Hometown Team, Hometown Design

So the new Sabres template was finally presented earlier this week and I just saw it today. I took on the task to be the first not HJC Ryan to create a concept. And here it is!

The numbers could use an outline, but at least they're there. In addition the numbers and nameplate aren't off thought they may appear to be. But having the Blue Jays font to replace the Sabres font was tricky, but I think it is passable. Tell me what you think!

I'm still not a fan of the template, but this is a pretty cool design of it nonetheless. The only thing I'm wondering is if the jersey is primarily yellow, shouldn't the captaincy patch by either blue or silver? I'd say white but there really isn't any on the jersey. It's just a little hard to look at. The font choice is really cool though.

Sorry about that, it was an accident to remove your comment. Anyway, i thought about an outline for the numbers, but that was an on the fence decision. Feel free to rewrite the comment you submitted. And I need to find your concept in my e-mail.

But you're right the equipment should be used for the other uniforms too!

I wasn't sure how to better highlight the captain's patch other than a white outline, but passed on the idea. The font actually is from the Toronto Blue Jays of the mid to late 2000s and was used primarily for the numbers, but the lettering is actually alright.

"Ricky, the equipment alone is better than the Sabres jersey , partly because of my glove template is used. The jersey isn't that bad but since the logo has an outline, I would definitely use a outline on the numbers too. Oh yeah, since you it seems that Blogger is working for you now, can you post the concepts I sent you? "
