Fake Opening Day

This isn't the first time nor will it be the last that Major League Baseball has had regular season games help prior to the official opening day of the season. This one, however features the first time that the two World Series participants from the previous season will begin the following season - an unthinkable thing before three years ago and not remotely possible before 1997 when interleague play began during the month of July. It is time for staff and contributors to give their two cents, as we will come the start of both the NHL and NBA playoffs next week or so.

While there are some predictions that may be beyond the sun, it all averages out to be rather reasonable. While I personally picked the Angels ahead of Texas in the AL West for second, I picked the Win Twins ahead of them and Toronto for the second wild card though the Twinkies would lose to Cleveland in the LDS. Arizona is the only pick in mine that may seem way beyond reach, but if they pull a Leicester City and pull of a great season, then this will be a good year for them. I don't think their terribly underrated, however they aren't exactly getting any love and I'm not riding the San Francisco every even year train. What are your thoughts?
