"Jamaica, We Have a Bobsled Team!"

No we aren't quite focusing on Jamaica, but we are focusing on four man bob in particular. I saw bits of the ISBF World Cup from a few weeks ago, but re-watched on the DVR yesterday and it suddenly dawned on me that I had wanted to give a template a try some time back. So I did something of the sort. It's rather basic based on viewpoints (you'll understand when you see it). I wanted to give it a go and managed to have it done in a couple hours from scratch.

I hope there is some fun with this. Not intended, but I plan on giving this a test run within the next few days. But at least I got a nice push start to this slope. It truly is all downhill from here.

2016 NLL Picks and Power Rankings: Week 4

I gotta say, nobody expected Toronto to have such a cold start. Especially when Rob Hellyer is their (by far) leading goal scorer. Buffalo needed that game to get their engines going on offense as defense has been solid throughout (sans Adam Jones). Speaking of Colorado, they rolled through the Stealth as anticipated at the LEC. Buffalos's first of two trips to Mohegan Sun is this coming week, while the Swarm have their two game Lake Ontario road trip. Colorado have their Canadian trip continue with their first ever visit to the SaskTel, and Calgary look to improver their scoring habits against the struggling Vancouver.

Week 4:
1. (1) COLORADO - Not in any immediate danger if they lose, but the Rush would make it a two-horse race for the West.
2. (3) BUFFALO - If K-Hawks lose, Thieves could be somewhere they haven't been much lately with a win - first place in the East.
3. (2) ROCHESTER - Must not underestimate Georgia, could be Vitarellli's day after last season's injury.
4. (4) SASKATCHEWAN - Would be great first SaskTel win if they can beat Mammoth.
5. (5) CALGARY - Winless monkey is off their back, but will struggle if it's close like in Uncasville last game.
6. (6) NEW ENGLAND - Gave the Riggers a fight at home, they'll bee competitive against the Bandits.
7. (9) GEORGIA - Swarm have the heart for their new home, harder to beat Toronto twice even if the Rock lost three other games.
8. (7)  VANCOUVER - SaskTel result must be replicated for any hope.
9. (8) TORONTO - Following suit from last year's 'Necks, can still pull together a playoff berth.

2016 NLL Picks and Power Rankings: Week 3

Rochester getting back to a business as usual mentality with the double in the home-and-home with Toronto. Good opportunity to steal a home win for the Bandits with Rock winless through three games played. With the overtime win over Buffalo, the Mammoth stay perfect at three wins though former Canisius College standout Adam Jones had a sock trick of sic goals that almost went to the wayside. Vancouver was the surprise of the week, but maybe they are back to being competitive again.

Week 3:
1. (2) COLORADO - Lots of laundry on the Pepsi Center floor Saturday night.
2. (5) ROCHESTER - Double over Toronto helps a heap.
3. (3) BUFFALO - Tough when losing in OT, maybe we'll see the new "BOX" signs again.
4. (1) SASKATCHEWAN - No reason to lose against Stealth with Mammoth on horizon.
5. (7) CALGARY - Looked like last week's Bandits, good defense, not getting shots to fall.
6. (6) NEW ENGLAND - Last week's goal tally caught up against Necks, also recycled for Gwinett.
7. (9)  VANCOUVER - Impressive for the last year's worst to beat the champs.
8. (4) TORONTO - Lost the home and home in league's current number one rivalry.
9. (8) GEORGIA - Almost doubled up at home after huge win against TO - looks like a long season.

DD60 to PBD

Have you been looking for our friends at DDragon60 Studios lately? Well they have rebranded. Founder Phil Beck has now rebranded his site as Phil Beck Designs. Other than that, nothing today as we are working on a new template that will be released within the next few weeks. The idea for the upcoming template isn't completely new, but rather something that had reappeared in my memory to be done. I'm excited and hop you'll be too.

2016 NLL Picks and Power Rankings: Week 2

That opening video though... The Bandits put in effort, but shots just weren't going in and they still managed the win, thanks to their defense. Since last we spoke, former MLS executive and Philadelphia Union owner Nick Sakiewicz has been named the new league commissioner.
