Croweater Special

According to many on the Big Footy forums, Adelaide is expecting a clash jumper change. The last two seasons, the team had worn a white jumper with a murder of crows in team colors. That was then scrapped for the so-called "toothpaste" jumper, which basically is white with the claw marks in team colors. There was a thread put up to try creating a new logo and/or clash jumper. I took on the task and at last check, I'm the only one with a logo designed at last check fifteen minutes prior to posting.

I think regulars will know the inspiration for the yellow jumper with a twist of the "invisible" side panels. I wanted to use "Adelaide" but found it difficult due to the specific required placement of the AFL logo. The NLL's Rochester Knighthawks may have inspired all of the jumpers, but none more-so than the yellow because of the design's presence. Have fun with these.

Rushing the Rush

We broke to you almost immediately on Monday that the NLL's defending champion Edmonton Rush have relocated. Their new SaskRushLAX Twitter handle has confirmed that.

 

 

Also confirmed today that the Swarm mascot's name is no longer Buzz, but rather Stinger. George may have seemed appropriate, but the Gwinett faithful have spoken. In both cases (quoting Olbermann again) these could be nominees for being "the miscreants, losers and riffraff, the unwashed and the unloved, don't take it completely seriously, I don't mean it completely literally, we just call them 'The Worst Persons In the Sports World'."
